Being raised in a musical family, I started conducting a children's choir and became an active singer in various amateur and semi/professional choirs, including World Youth Choir ’94 & ‘96.
After my basic musical training, I went on working together with other professional choral musicians and conductors.
My musical life continued with lighter music by lending my low voice to the High Priests in the concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar, supporting singing actors as boot-singer in the musical Cats and sang several times as a backing vocal at the Night of the Proms (ao Vaya Con Dios, Spandau Ballet and Joe Cocker).
I also have been a singer / arranger / musical director in the former vocal band Voice Male for more then 2000 shows in the past 20 years all over Europe and South Africa.
My passion for singing and eagerness to inspire and encourage likeminded people have led me to tend (inter)national workshops on “polyphonic singing without scores”, “improving individual choir-singing responsibilities”, vocal coaching and a panel member on the international choir-festival circuit.
Chorusonline allows me to write my ideas down so I can share them all over the world what’s on my musical mind. The thaught that a choir in New Zealand is having a good time with my music makes it worthwhile to arrange for this great online publisher
